What a great song! Its perfect to start this new journey, every word of every line is exactly where I am at.
I am going to be good to myself now. My job was making me crazy. I want to not be angry about it anymore, I want to let it go and reboot my whole being. I am going to be good to myself. I think that’s the part I have been missing.
Now I have time. My job is now a part time gig, I am no longer a full time salaried employee. I haven’t had the luxury of time in a long while. Right now its 9:41 am on a Thursday, and I am not at work. I have some work later, but not a full day. The sun is out, and I can do whatever I want this afternoon. What shall I do? The normal person I was would stress about trying to figure out what to do that would be the most productive, but the new me needs to do things differently! I am just going to let the day take me where ever it does, and smile for myself and everyone around me.
